Wheelthrown stoneware flecked clay vase adorned with multiple handles forming the branches of the ‘tree of life’. 

These pieces are new for 2026 and speak heavily to my fascination with folk art, stories portrayed in clay and connections made across time through the enduring nature of ceramics. 

Each branch or handle is adorned with my favourite symbols from nature, leaves as seen as part of traditional Mexican trees of life from around 3000 years ago,

birds representing freedom and levity,

hearts - love and connection 

Pomegranates with exploding seeds hark back to Greek mythology, Persephone and the underworld. Fertility, motherhood and childbirth. 

The sun representing the god symbolism often seen on trees of life but also a celebration of the life force more generally. The serenity of the face brings comfort and calm to the piece.
