New experiments and yes i’m scared about cracks. Two different clay bodies and one is in the bisque firing now. Exciting times. Based on some research into Mexican trees of life.

More works in progress. Finished pieces should start making their way out of the kiln soon! I’ll be reopening the shop in the 26th Feb.

Things have not been straightforward and I’ve had a fair share of “learning” (mishaps) th

Part of today’s work was adding the decoration and sgraffito to this warrior sculpture 💙

I also used some Lino cuts to add decoration.

He will now dry slowly under plastic and the clay will turn very pale until when fired hopefully turning
